On the palate, this wine is bursting with the bright acidity of ripe red cherries highlighted with layers of spice, cinnamon and smoke, which leads to a mouthwatering finish of tart cherries that lingers long on the palate. This wine can be enjoyed now, but also has enough structure and acidity to evolve and develop even greater complexity over the next few years.
Vibrant garnet in color. Initial aromas of black cherries, with whiffs of floral and vanilla spice. On the palate, the wine is full and rich, highlighted by an intense core of black cherry and dark plum flavors balanced by hints of cola and a subtle citrus note. This plush wine fills the palate yet exhibits good acidity and fine tannins that make for a well balanced wine that keeps pumping out a mélange of flavors through the long, heady finish.
